We Welcome Pets Top

We love our pets and we know how nice it is to be able to vacation with them. Your well-behaved pets are welcome here, and this might be the best trip you've ever had together.

We love our pets and we know how nice it is to be able to vacation with them. Your well-behaved pets are welcome to stay here with us, and this might be the best trip you've ever had together. At Randall Glen we truly make your pets welcome. We have a collection of dogs and cats that are very friendly to visitors, and your pet and ours will be the only ones in residence. Fox Bark, our pet friendly cabin is specially fitted for animal guests and it's available year round on a first-come basis. There's a spacious fenced area, and the furnishings are durable and washable. When you arrive for your Pet Friendly Vacation your pet will be greeted with a goody basket and a special Randall Glen collar tag. There's even a climbing tree for cats on the screened porch. We can provide enormous fenced areas for off-leash outings, with fields and woods to run in, creeks to splash through, sticks to chase, and mysterious smells to pursue. There are miles of trails for hiking with your dog, and we can also give advice on North Carolina park destinations for pets and their people.

We do have a policy, shown below, that we ask you to follow so that you, your pets, and your fellow guests can have a wonderful visit.

Please keep in mind that this is a working farm with animals of all kinds, and also that we're surrounded by wilderness. Our dogs are not aggressive but are often offleash on the property. There will be other guests, including children. You know your pet best. Will it be intimidated by its surroundings or will it glory in every new sight and smell? Does it stay close by you or is it likely to run off in search of adventure? Does it relate well to strangers, children, and other animals? Before booking, consider whether this is the right place for your pet. When ours first came here they thought they'd gone to heaven. They still greet every moment outdoors as the best ever. If you think your pet will feel the same way, we'd love to have you here!

You'll see the dawn light up Little Sandy Mush Bald and Wilson Ridge, while the sun sets dramatically behind Haywood Gap. High Hickory is backed by a natural amphitheater with enormous mossy boulders sheeted with water from a small spring. This one bedroom cabin has a big sleeping loft reached by a spiral staircase, and sleeps up to 6.

Dunsmore has one bedroom and a big sleeping loft reached by a spiral stair, and sleeps up to 6. Fox Bark • Book Online!
Number 7 on the Bird's-Eye Map
Set in trees festooned with ancient wild grape vines, Fox Bark looks out at Wilson Ridge from your front porch, Sam's Gap and Haywood Gap to the side for colorful sunsets. Fox Bark also overlooks the horses grazing in lush Haywood Pasture. Next to your cabin are the remains of settlers' dry-stacked stone walls, and in the fall clusters of wild grapes are dropping for a woodland snack. Fox Bark has one bedroom and a spiral staircase to the roomy sleeping loft, and sleeps up to 6. It's outfitted for hospitality to pets and has a large fenced area.
