PET AGREEMENT
The following agreement must be signed and returned to Randall Glen prior to your arrival. Each item must be initialed and a signature at the bottom is required. Please mail to Randall Glen, 96 Randall Cove Road, Leicester, NC  28748. Online bookings require your acceptance of the Pet Agreement in lieu of signing a hard copy.

Pets are only allowed when approved in advance, only in Fox Bark cabin, and only when the following terms are agreed to:

_____ 1) Pets shall never be left unattended at a cabin unless crated. If any uncrated pet is found at a cabin, either inside or outside, I authorize Randall Glen to remove the pet(s) and, at my expense, have them boarded at a local boarding service for the duration of my stay. If I choose to vacate the premises rather than board my pet(s) for the remainder of my stay, I agree that boarding and transportation costs incurred will be reimbursed to Randall Glen, and that the charges for the remaining portion of my stay will be forfeited.

_____2)  I understand that pets are limited to domestic, housebroken, nondestructive adult pets (no puppies) and I warrant that my pet meets these requirements.

_____ 3) I agree that I will be financially responsible in the event of damage to property (includes real and personal property, natural foliage and vegetation, landscaping, erosion-control terrain, and the property of other guests staying in our other cabins) or non-compliance of pet rules.  Additionally, I agree to reimburse Randall Glen for the costs of repairs necessary, including treatment for infestation of fleas or ticks, because of damage to the cabin during my stay.  I agree that such costs will be charged to my credit card on file with Randall Glen.

_____4)  I understand that, even if no damage or breach of rules has occurred, a non-refundable pet cleaning fee PER PET shall be charged to the invoice for my cabin stay in an amount as follows: STAY OF 1-2 nights, $25;  3-6 nights, $50;  7+ nights, $75.  (Arrival into cabin with MORE than the number of approved pets will result in these fees being DOUBLED.)

_____ 5) I agree to report pet damage immediately upon occurrence to facilitate timely repairs/corrections/cleanup. (Waiting until checkout to report pet damage can potentially increase my financial responsibility if restoring the unit to rentable condition cannot be accomplished before the next arrival, thus causing the displacement of future guests). I agree that damages resulting from my pet can result in related costs, including but not limited to: fumigation costs and loss of rents due to the unit not being fit for occupancy by the next guests. Liability for costs of displacing future guests (lost rents) is limited to 2 nights, and is only applicable when best reasonable efforts to return the cabin to rentable status are not effective and result in lost rent revenue to Randall Glen.

_____ 6) I agree to hold Randall Glen harmless for any perils to my pet(s) including, but not limited to accidents, injuries, illness, loss, runaway, death or any other circumstances relating to the presence of my pet(s). I understand that certain  conditions of the environment and habitat of the area are inherently risky for domestic animals. This includes dangers of predators (bears, raccoons, wild dogs, snakes, and others) and other conditions (fallen or falling trees/branches, stinging insects, poisonous vegetation, land/rock slides, and others). I understand that pets are not affected by, but can facilitate human contact with poison ivy toxins.

_____ 7) I agree to the following guidelines for control and behavior of my pet(s):

• Pets over 20 pounds are not allowed at all on the furniture, including beds.  Pets under 20 pounds are only allowed on furniture that has been covered by a quilt or blanket WHICH YOU MUST PROVIDE.  Cabin linens are not to be used for this purpose. (ANY EVIDENCE OF VIOLATION WILL RESULT IN THE PET FEE BEING DOUBLED).
• Pets will be in owner’s control, either by command or by leash at all times.
• Excessive noise, including howling or barking, will be avoided. If other guests are disturbed, pet must be removed.

_____ 8) I agree that my responsibilities herein apply to pets whether owned by me, my family, or the guests staying with me at the cabin. “Visiting” pets (those brought by visitors just stopping by and not staying overnight) are not allowed in the cabins.

_____9)  I understand that Randall Glen is a working farm with a number of large dogs that roam the property freely to protect the livestock.  I understand that these dogs are not aggressive, but will respond to aggressive actions by visitor dogs.  Upon arrival my dog will be introduced to the resident dogs.  I warrant that my dog(s) are accustomed to mingling with other dogs, and that my dog(s) are not prone to fear aggression, over protectiveness, or other aggressive forms of behavior.
