Oh, the summer joys of heirloom tomatoes fresh from the garden! We grow all sorts—Mister Stripey, Brandywine, Mortgage Lifter, little fuzzy Peach tomatoes, Cherokee Purple, Mountain Pride, tiny Mexico Midget, German Johnson, Kellogg’s Breakfast—the list goes on and on. To us, there’s nothing that says “Summer!” like a sandwich of perfectly ripe tomato on homemade bread. Then there’s sliced tomato, Ratatouille, chilled Gazpacho soup, okra and tomatoes, fried green tomatoes—that list goes on and on, too!
